Why I Write
To Glorify God!
My name is Jeb Beasley. I was born and raised in Middle Tennessee and am currently living in Knoxville, TN. I was born into a family of faith where everyone loves the outdoors, especially hunting. I love the Lord and His creation.
I have been very fortunate to merge this passion for hunting with a career path that allows me to share my experiences with others. I currently serve as the Program Manager for the Hunting and Fishing Academy at the Tennessee Wildlife Federation. I work to teach the next generation of hunters and anglers in our great state!
As an outdoorsman and believer in Christ, I have the unique opportunity to not only enjoy creation, but partake in it as an act of worship. If that sounds strange then consider the apostle Paul when he writes to the church in Corinth, "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." (1 Corinthians 10:31).
Every aspect of the Christian life has the potential to glorify God and seeing that He has placed an innate desire within me to hunt, fish, and tell others all about it, that is what I shall do, but only that it may shed light on His infinite worth and goodness.
I invite you to read and learn how God has used these wild places to draw my heart closer to His. My hope is that what I write will stir something in your heart and point you towards Christ.
